REAL ESTATE
BUYING
Finding and purchasing a home that will meet your needs is a significant and often stressful time. My goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible. We are experts in the area, and once we learn what it is that you are looking for, finding your dream home is simple.
Before you start looking for a home you should ask yourself a few questions:
Where are you looking to live? Are there certain neighborhoods or communities you're particularly drawn to?
What type of home do you need or want? Is there a particular style you're looking for? How many bedrooms and bathrooms do you prefer?
Do you need a home office, or would a bonus or flex room be helpful?
Do you entertain frequently? Are you looking for a home that’s well-suited for hosting guests?
Are you interested in having a yard, a pool, or living in a gated or guard-gated community?
Have you set a budget or spoken with a lender to determine your ideal price range?

Let’s work together to make your dream home a reality - whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor.
THE PROCESS IS SIMPLE
-
First step is to review your savings, income, and credit score to get a clear understanding of what you can afford. Consult a lender to get pre-approved for a mortgage. This will give you a price range and show sellers you’re a serious buyer.
-
Choosing a real estate agent to work with when buying your home is a big decision! Your agent should have a deep understanding of your goals and the market. Credentials, of course, are a plus- but what you can’t see behind the numbers are the intangibles of going the extra mile and genuinely caring deeply for clients. I look forward to the opportunity of earning your business and sharing this life milestone with you and your family.
-
Identify your needs: Consider factors like location, price, size, and amenities (e.g., number of bedrooms, outdoor space, proximity to schools/work).
Start viewing homes: Attend open houses or schedule private showings to explore homes that fit your criteria.
-
So you think you have found “the one” and you are ready to put in an offer. I will help you prepare and submit an offer. The seller may accept, reject, or counter your offer. You can negotiate on price, contingencies, or other details. I will guide you every step of the way from obtaining pre-approval letter to strategizing the approach for a successful offer.
-
After your offer is accepted, you’ll sign a purchase agreement that outlines the sale price, closing date, and other details.
-
You will work with a licensed inspector who will identify any potential issues with the property, such as structural problems or needed repairs. If any issues are found, you can negotiate with the seller to make repairs or adjust the price.
-
The lender will typically require an appraisal to determine the home’s market value, ensuring it’s worth the amount they’re lending you.
-
Final walkthrough: Before closing, you’ll do a final walkthrough of the home to ensure it’s in the agreed-upon condition.
Close the deal: On closing day, you’ll sign the necessary documents, pay closing costs, and officially take ownership of the home.
-
Celebrate your new home! Once the paperwork is done, you’ll get the keys and can begin moving into your new property.
